Just before nightfall, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the state’s most consequential voter suppression legislation since the Jim Crow era. On top of this horrific legislation, Kemp had police arrest a Democratic legislator who knocked on his office door attempting to witness the bill signing. What we're witnessing is undemocratic and we must do something about it.
Here’s our immediate action: Contact Georgia voters in swing districts to let them know their state legislators are making it harder to vote. Early organizing will make a difference in defeating these bad state reps in 2022 -- and we’re not going to let them forget about their support of this anti-democratic legislation.
Give now to power calls and texts to Georgia voters so we can strike back against Republican attempts to suppress the vote.

Here’s what’s in this 95-page voter suppression omnibus law:
>>> Cuts the time to apply for and return absentee ballots and adds a new, unnecessary ID requirement to vote from home.
>>> Reduces drop box hours to make them available only during early voting. This drastically cuts the convenience of voting from home by forcing voters to return their ballots during a certain time of day.
>>> Criminalizes passing out food or beverages to voters waiting in line at polling places. Data shows Black and brown voters face the longest wait time.
Republicans are terrified of high voter turnout, so they’re constructing as many barriers to the ballot box ahead of 2022.
Now is the time to mobilize a grassroots in Georgia to hold these politicians accountable. Your donation will fund calls and texts to Georgia voters letting them know their rights have been threatened.
We won’t let these politicians get away with suppressing the vote.
Thank you for being in this fight.
