Dear John,

We warmly welcome you to join us for a discussion on navigating contrasting viewpoints in the high school history and civics classroom next week, March 30th at 2 p.m. ET. For this co-hosted webinar, "Reflective Patriotism or Reflexive Polarization: Teaching Civics in a Post-Trump Era," we have invited members of our teacher community to lead us in the discussion.

REGISTER FOR THE WEBINAR
History and civics classrooms are the front lines for practicing the habits and virtues of democratic self-governance and the past few years have challenged the civics educator in innumerable ways.

Our panel of educators and practitioners from across the country will explore how to use tools for inquiry to foster civic engagement, student voice, and constructive discourse as we endeavor to cultivate civic friendships. Our master educators will also explore new techniques and pedagogies for creating a culture of openness while allowing for diversity in viewpoints.
Please contact our Events Team if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Rachel Davison Humphries
