Dear John,
Why is this Passover different than all of the ones before? Perhaps because while many will again stare at our extended family through screens during the holidays, this year there is hope... Hope that soon the impact of the COVID plague will diminish, that the healing will begin and that the pandemic will no longer divide us physically and spiritually.
Whether we are observing Passover, Easter, Ramadan or any other holiday meaningful to our faiths and cultures, we must stay connected. The traditions and gatherings that make us whole are virtual but they will be more vital than ever.
Most importantly, I hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. Nothing is more important than that as we live through extraordinary times.
At ADL, we will continue to focus on keeping you informed and engaged. This year, we want to share

new Passover resources, including a Seder Haggadah Supplement to help you discuss how to work towards immigrant and refugee justice during and after the holiday. Passover is, after all, a story of leaving home in search of freedom, safety and security in the face of persecution.
During this holiday of liberation, we thank you deeply for being part of the ADL community.
May your holiday celebrations be sweetened by your commitment to securing justice and fair treatment to all. We wish you and your loved ones health and happiness.
Best,
