Friends,
My administration is working around the clock to get shots in arms and make sure those who’ve borne the brunt of this pandemic get the relief they need as quickly as possible.
Minnesotans met the challenges of the past year the way we always do when faced with hardship — with grit and resilience. And now that we have the good news of a positive budget outlook, we need to come together once again for our neighbors.
That’s why our Revised COVD-19 Recovery Budget calls for additional targeted investments to support working families, ensure our students catch up on learning, and help small businesses stay afloat while driving economic recovery — all while maintaining a full budget reserve.
We’re turning the corner, but we can’t stop now. Healing is only possible if we continue rising above the politics of fear and division and moving forward together. That’s why it’s so important to make sure our campaign has the resources to keep fighting for our One Minnesota values.
So, as we approach our first end-of-quarter deadline of the year this coming Wednesday, March 31, I’m asking for your help:
Will you stand with me today to keep Minnesota on the path to recovery? If you can, pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you today.
I can’t thank you enough for being a part of this team. When we stand together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. The future is bright.
I'm grateful,
Tim Walz
