When We all Vote [[link removed]]
John,
Last night, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a new voter suppression bill into law. This disgraceful legislation imposes new ID requirements for absentee ballots, limits drop boxes, allows state takeovers of local elections, and even criminalizes giving water to people in line to vote -- all in an effort to suppress the votes of millions of Georgians after record turnout in last year’s elections. It makes voting in Georgia harder, not easier, and will disproportionately affect Black and brown people.
This is just one of many extreme and racist voter suppression laws making its way through state legislatures across the country. The need for the passage of the For the People Act is urgent and our work to empower people to contact their senators has never been more important.
John, will you chip in $5 today to support our work to stop voter suppression?
DONATE NOW [[link removed]]Your donation will allow us to invest in the tools and resources needed to help people contact their senators and urge them to pass the For the People Act. This is our chance to help stop voter suppression, end gerrymandering, and make it easier to vote by putting the power back in the hands of the people.
Donate now [[link removed]] to help us get the message to the Senate that they must pass the For the People Act.
