Hey -- I just wanted to quickly check in to make sure you saw Harley's email from yesterday (forwarded below). It was really important and more than a little bit scary.
The Los Angeles Times just published an article about the hold right-wing extremism has taken in Orange County. It's deep-seated and poisonous.
And Michelle Steel is more than just a casual onlooker. She has pushed anti-mask rhetoric, taken money from folks who supported the insurrection, stood with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump, and made blantantly homophobic comments publicly.
We need to defeat this right-wing extremism, and we need to defeat Michelle Steel. Help us show Michelle Steel we're ready to do that by donating before our end-of-quarter deadline >> [[link removed]]

Here's the thing: Michelle Steel has stood alongside these folks and done more than her fair share to incite the movement .
She's taken big checks from people who supported the insurrection, taken medical advice from someone who claimed a gun protected folks better from COVID than a mask, and surrounded herself with people who rallied behind the "Stop the Steal" movement.
More than that, she's pushed anti-mask rhetoric, made homophobic jokes, and voted against impeaching Donald Trump for his role in the insurrection.
We've got to defeat Michelle Steel. Can you help me try to do that by donating to our campaign today? [[link removed]]
