Democratic Socialist Labor Commission (DSLC) and DSA Ecosocialists have already made thousands of calls to pass the PRO Act! We're phonebanking voters in states where crucial Senators have yet to sign on. There are shifts available every day of this week, sign up for as many or as few as you can here. Each shift will have a quick training and intro to the campaign, so all experience levels are welcome!
The governor’s eviction prevention task force reports that 150,000 and 230,000 households in the state of Colorado are at risk of being removed from their homes. Our community deserves better! Join us this Saturday to collect signatures for Right to Counsel. Come canvass or stop by to sign the petition at Little Cheesman Park between 10 AM—6 PM (with signature gathering kickoffs at 10:00 AM, noon, and 2:00 PM.) NEWR meetings are Wednesdays at 7 PM. Email [email protected] for Zoom info! (Read more at NEWRDenver.com).

DSA 101 (REGISTER)
Sunday, March 28 | 1:00—3:00 PM
Are you new or newly returning to DSA? To Denver? To the Left? Then join us for DSA 101! At this orientation, we’ll talk about what capitalism is, how it functions, and why socialism is ideologically opposed to it. Participants will also learn about the history of our organization and our chapter in particular, the current projects we’re working on, and how you can get involved. This is not a lecture, but a meeting for new and veteran organizers alike. We’re excited to chat with you!
TRAINING: How to do effective turnout (REGISTER) Monday, March 29 | 7:00—8:30 PM
How do you bring people to your meeting or event and keep them energized and plugged in, even after the event's over? Join us for a training on how to do effective turnout AND follow-up. We’ll be talking about phonebanking, Spoke texts, digital communications, and how to use Action Network to effectively keep track of committee members, interested volunteers, and organizers!
COMMUNITY
Our community neighbors in Boulder experienced senseless violence this week, and ten individuals—Denny Stong (20), Neven Stanisic (23), Rikki Olds (25), Tralona Bartkowiak (49),
Suzanne Fountain (59), Teri Leiker (51), Eric Talley (51), Kevin Mahoney (61), Lynn Murray (62),
Jody Waters (65)—were murdered. This kind of tragedy is one Colorado knows all too well. We stand and mourn in solidarity with the victims and their friends & family.
Donate directly to Denver DSA If you like the work we're doing, please consider donating directly to the chapter so we have the financial means to keep doing it! While we receive quarterly dues shares from National, your direct donation to Denver DSA gets money into organizers’ hands quicker. We have one-time and monthly options of virtually any amount available. Give us socialist cash to beat capitalist trash!
