Yesterday, President Biden announced that his administration hit a major milestone in their efforts to provide relief to the American people: over 100 million Americans, including millions of Kansans, have already received their stimulus checks. It is an incredible accomplishment to have already distributed 100 million relief checks – all thanks to President Biden and Democrats, and no thanks to Republicans who opposed them. As a result of these direct payments, working people have received unprecedented relief to help them put food on the table, catch up on household payments, and so much more.

We need to make sure the American people know that while President Biden and Democrats nationwide worked to make the American Rescue Plan a reality, Republicans chose to play political games and unanimously opposed billions of dollars to get checks in pockets and provide the financial relief millions of Kansans desperately need .
