Team, did you see the news?
Deb Haaland was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Secretary of the Interior, and she is the first Native American to hold this position.
The Secretary of the Interior plays a critical role in tackling climate change, supporting Tribal Nations, and protecting public lands. This is essential — especially here in Nevada, which is home to more than 6.5 million acres of protected wilderness areas!
Last year, I cosponsored the Great American Outdoors Act, and I have worked hard to fight back against using Yucca Mountain as a dumping site for America’s nuclear waste. I have advocated for protecting our public lands so generations to come can continue to enjoy the great outdoors, just as we have for generations past.
That’s why I’m thrilled Sec. Haaland will be at the helm of the fight for the environment and land we all depend on.

Thanks for all you do,
