Generation Z played a huge role in electing Joe Biden in 2020. According to an NBC exit poll, 65% of voters between the ages of 18 and 24 supported Biden — 11% more than any other age group. 

Unfortunately, the GOP has seen these polling numbers too — which is why Republicans across the country are passing legislation at the state and local levels to restrict voting rights, particularly for young people, people of color and other marginalized groups. 

Future Forum Democrats are fighting to expand access to the ballot box while Republicans — scared of losing — work to restrict voting rights across the country. With our democracy at risk, we need to fight back.
