John,
When survivors of gun violence have urged elected leaders to pass lifesaving reforms for decades, only to be told that the time is not right or that the politics are simply too complicated, we will not accept this answer to the lives lost every day.
We have one thing to say to President Biden: The time is now. We must save lives.
The two mass shootings that dominated national headlines were only a fraction of the tragedy we experienced just this week. In fact, just between March 16 and 22 there were 11 mass shootings which resulted in 27 deaths and 38 injuries. Enough is enough. We can’t wait another minute.
Brady calls on President Biden to release a comprehensive plan and vision for reducing gun violence at his joint Congressional address – which could happen any day now, John. We need your help to hold President Biden accountable to his promise to save lives:
ADD YOUR NAME TO URGE PRESIDENT BIDEN TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. >>
For too long, we have been told that the time is not right, but we’re not accepting it from President Biden. Together, we can break the deadly cycle of inaction and we’re not waiting another minute to hold our elected leaders accountable for the promises they’ve made – and the safer future we all deserve.
