President Biden on Tuesday, following the second high profile mass shooting in less than a week that killed 10 more Americans:
“I don’t need to wait another minute.”

President Biden today, when asked about the actions he will take on gun violence prevention:
“It’s a matter of timing.”

When survivors of gun violence have urged elected leaders to pass lifesaving reforms for decades, only to be told that the time is not right or that the politics are simply too complicated, we will not accept this answer to the lives lost every day.

We have one thing to say to President Biden: The time is now. We must save lives.

The two mass shootings that dominated national headlines were only a fraction of the tragedy we experienced just this week. In fact, Between March 16 and 22 there were 11 mass shootings which resulted in 27 deaths and 38 injuries. Enough is enough. We can’t wait another minute.
