Friend: Thank you for playing World Water Day trivia!

With every right answer, you unlocked 50 cents to support litigation, organizing, and action for clean water — funds going to urgent use, right now.

World Water Day might be behind us, but this work MUST accelerate. Vocal opponents of water preservation still wield tremendous power, and some of the former president’s most shortsighted, damaging rules remain in place, even now.

Which is why I must ask: Will you take the next step, and make a gift to Waterkeeper Alliance now? Give now for drinkable, fishable, swimmable water — everywhere. → ([link removed])

We are so grateful that you took the time to test your clean water IQ, and the funds you unlocked are important!

But here’s the truth: While every little bit counts, we need your partnership to reverse former President Trump’s worst environmental legacies. (And Friend, there are so many).

Just consider a FEW of the previous administration’s regulations that still stand:
* A draconian reduction of which waters and wetlands are protected by the federal Clean Water Act
* A dramatic weakening of the National Environmental Policy Act that puts communities and ecosystems at great risk of harm
* Much less stringent requirements for power plants to prevent toxic contamination of surface waters and groundwater

I could go on. But instead, I’ll bring it back to you — to us — and the impact we can make for our waters.

World Water Day is over, but our work can’t flag for a moment. You’ve tested your knowledge, Friend, and now we must ask for your action.

Give for clean water, everywhere, now → ([link removed])

And thank you, as always, for making this work possible.

Maia Raposo
Communications and Marketing Director
