Team,
11 years ago this week, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law -- a historic piece of legislation that expanded access to health care to more than 20 million people.
The Affordable Care Act created protections for those with pre-existing conditions, required insurance companies to cover key benefits, and allowed young people to stay on their parents health insurance until the age of 26.
During the COVID crisis, we’ve seen so many tangible effects of the ACA, and it has never been more clear that we need to protect and improve upon this critical legislation.
But later this year, the Supreme Court will rule on a Republican-led lawsuit that could dismantle the ACA -- putting the health care of millions of Americans at risk.
Team, we want to hear directly from you. Will you take a quick survey to let us know what you think about the Affordable Care Act?
Thank you for your input!
Team Carolyn
