I’ve got some good news: The Social Security Administration has finally given the IRS payment information for 30 million seniors and people with disabilities who have been waiting weeks for their stimulus checks.

But here’s the bad news: SSA Commissioner Andrew Saul and his Deputy Commissioner David Black, the two Trump appointees who withheld payment information for weeks after the IRS requested it, have not been removed. They will continue to have the power to sabotage our Social Security system from within.

This partial victory happened because the American people spoke up in outrage. Our voices are powerful. We can’t let up as long as the Social Security saboteurs remain!
