NASN Joins With ANA On Vaccine Facts For School Nurses
The American Nurses Association (ANA) and 19 nursing and healthcare organizations are joining together to announce a new vaccine education campaign: COVID Vaccine Facts for Nurses. Critical, current, and culturally sensitive COVID-19 vaccine information is available to the nation’s nurses on the frontlines of the pandemic. NASN is a partnering organization to share resources and answers to common questions.

Clean Air is Focus of National Healthy Schools Day 2021
April 6 is National Healthy Schools Day, and the 2021 focus is Clean Air in Every School. National Healthy Schools Day is coordinated by Healthy Schools Network and a group of other organizations. There are a number of resources available for your school here.
Forensic School Nurse Bootcamp: 9.0 Free CE
This five-part School Nurse Forensic Boot Camp is jointly hosted by the Alaska Nurses Association and the Academy of Forensic Nursing. The purpose of this five-part series is to improve the school nurse's knowledge on providing care to students impacted by violence, trafficking, or suicide and mental health issues. Topics include: Integrating medical-forensic care into your nursing practice and healthcare setting; human trafficking; pediatric sexual abuse/assault; family violence; and
suicide and mental health.

In addition, at 4 p.m. EST April 14, there will be a 90-minute live panel with school nurses sharing how to incorporate these concepts into practice (this is the 6th session of the series). This separate registration can be accessed here.
