Today, I'm excited to share my first Congressional endorsement of 2021
with you: Nina Turner for Ohio's 11th Congressional District in Congress!

Nina and I have a lot in common: We were both born into working-class
families, we've spent most of our professional lives advocating for our
communities, and — most importantly — we're both boldly, unapologetically
progressive. 

Nina's ready to get to Washington to fight for the people of Ohio's 11th
District, as well as progressive policies like Medicare for All, a $15
minimum wage, and racial and economic justice for all. I know she'll be a
great colleague in the House.

We need more leaders in Congress who are not only determined to amplify
our progressive movement, but who are dedicated to bringing much needed
change to our communities that meet the scale and scope of the crises we
face. 

During her tenure on the Cleveland City Council and Ohio State Senate,
Nina proved to be a powerful advocate for progressive values, and has
prioritized the needs of the people over political establishment. After
her time as the Co-Chair of Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign, Nina
gained his endorsement and fierce support.

She deeply values the voice of the people, which is why her campaign
refuses to take a single dime of corporate PAC money. That means the only
way she's going to win her election is if we — the grassroots — all have
her back.

The progressive movement has a chance to add another champion to our ranks
