The House passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, a comprehensive package of pro-democracy and anticorruption reforms to put power back in the hands of the American people and protect everyone’s right to make their voices heard.

Amidst a wave of voter suppression attempts following the 2020 election, with most targeting communities of color, passing this legislation has never been more important. We must fight back against the GOP’s attempts to disenfranchise millions of voters and tilt the system in their favor.

Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP are using every tactic in the book to bury this critical legislation, including using the filibuster to stall progress. In the last election, the American people gave us a mandate to make headway on the issues that matter, which is why the Senate cannot afford any delays. They must act to reform or end the filibuster right away.

So, John, will you join me in calling on the Senate to end the filibuster so we can advance important legislation like this without obstruction from Republicans? [[link removed]]
