Bad news. Yesterday, a committee in the Arizona state legislature passed a dangerous voter suppression bill. We emailed about it yesterday morning — this bill would require an extra ID to vote absentee.

After historic voter turnout in 2020 that secured a Democratic majority in the Senate, GOP state legislators are pushing new voter suppression bills in a coordinated effort to make it harder for Arizonans to vote in future elections.

The bill that passed committee was designed to target and suppress the voices of voters. It’s unacceptable and we cannot let this happen in Arizona or anywhere else around the country.

So we’re doing everything we can to protect the right to vote, but it’s going to take a massive effort, which is where you come in:
