In my own words: Meet Mariah Kay S.

Meet Mariah Kay S.

Diagnosed a few years ago, 24-year-old Mariah says her autism helps her tune into emotions, and she loves to make new friends and meet new people. She has met challenges in her life - being misunderstood and having anxiety around social rules - by extending kindness and acceptance to others. Today, she enjoys a circle of friends who accept her for who she is - kind, resilient, and unique - and spreads the message of inclusion to bring that feeling of acceptance to others.
