I’m happy to announce that opening night will be on Thursday, June 17 at 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST. The auction will run from June 17-25. Mark your calendars!
We know that the Breast Cancer Action community is filled with incredible artists and activists. So, we invite you to submit a piece to the event.

This fundraiser will reflect our core values. BCAction is not your average breast cancer organization, and for three decades we have taken on this disease by addressing the root causes of health inequalities. The health inequities we face are the result of a complex interplay between culture, power, economics, racism, and sexism. While the mainstream breast cancer movement remains squarely focused on pink ribbons, “awareness” campaigns, and individual risk and solutions, we approach breast cancer through a health justice lens.
We encourage submissions from artists who feel aligned with our values and are interested in addressing issues of breast cancer, women's rights, health, and other social justice causes. We welcome art that explores those themes, however, it is not required for you to stick to those themes or express them in a literal way. If you feel inspired to submit a piece, please do!
The deadline to sign-up to submit a piece of art is Friday, April 30th, 2021. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any other questions about this fundraiser or our submission guidelines.
