BREAKING NEWS: An acting General Counsel has been appointed to the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA). Charlotte Dye has been appointed to the role. She previously served as the FLRA Deputy General Counsel and the Regional Director in the Dallas Region before the region was shut down.
WHY THIS MATTERS: It has been more than three years since the FLRA has been able to issue complaints due to the vacancy at the General Counsel position. During that time nearly 450 complaints have sat idle. The appointment of an acting FLRA General Counsel means that unfair labor practices can now move through the authority and we can begin to see resolutions to important issues we have presented before the FLRA.
