172 House Republicans voted against renewing the Violence Against Women Act.

These 172 representatives lack the humanity and compassion to be able to lead this country, and they need to go.

And the worst part of it all? Many Republicans who voted against the act cited their loyalty to gun rights as their reason for vetoing -- the Act's new legislation restricts spouses and boyfriends convicted of stalking, abusing, or assaulting their partners from buying firearms.

The GOP is prioritizing abusive men buying guns over the lives of women everywhere.

We're so happy that the Violence Against Women Act was renewed but devastated at just how many representatives tried to obstruct it. We need more representatives who will fight tooth and nail to make our country a safer place, especially for women.

Luckily, 2022 offers a distinct opportunity to get these 172 gun-loving Republicans out and usher in progressive replacements. Our country cannot afford for them to stay in power any longer -- women's lives now literally depend on it. But to truly have a shot at ousting these Republicans, we need to start NOW.

They have the NRA's deep pockets on their side, as well as big donors who are ready to spend millions of dollars fighting against gun control. Luckily for us, we have you. We're falling about $3,120 behind right now to be able to fund our efforts to get these despicable representatives out, and we don't want to give up our momentum.
