Racism in all Forms is Unacceptable

SOUTHINGTON – The Connecticut Republican State Central Committee condemns the recent racist and inflammatory commentary aimed at Asian Americans by State Representative Mike Winkler (D-Vernon) and calls for his immediate resignation.
Chairwoman Sue Hatfield issued the following statement:
"The remarks of Representative Winkler were unacceptable and offensive. It's not up to him to judge who faces discrimination in our society and who doesn't. It is clear that his attitudes are part of the problem and that he should resign immediately."
