Hi John,

Three years ago, millions of Americans took to the streets with March for Our Lives, answering the call of young people who stood up to demand action to address the gun violence epidemic.

In the wake of the horrific Parkland shooting, which left 17 students and staff dead and 17 others wounded, a generation of young people stood up to say, enough is enough. We are a better and stronger movement because of their leadership.

Do you think the gun violence epidemic has gotten better since Parkland?

In the last week, 18 lives were stolen in two very public mass shootings, shocking the nation with a reminder of the cost of gun violence. And we know hundreds more people have been killed by guns in the last week without making national news. It is clear we have so much left to do. We resolve to keep up the fight for a safer, more just future. We are grateful to continue the fight alongside courageous young leaders and a dedicated movement.

Onward,
Dylan (he/him)
