We’re just a couple of hours away from our FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.

I just got off the phone with our Finance Director Declan, who informed me that we are a mere $501 away from our grassroots online fundraising goal.

This is huge.

If we eclipse this goal, it will send a message that we are not only going to protect our district next year from far-right attacks, but we are going to protect our values. Our South Jersey values.

My first nine months in Congress have been extremely productive.

I’m fighting to protect affordable health care, lower prescription drug costs, improve public transportation, prevent needless government shutdowns, defend our coastline, and actually get people to work with one another in the halls of Congress.

The only point of government is to improve people’s lives. If we don’t work together, we can’t accomplish that mission.
