It takes courage to stand up to the party establishment and fight for transformational change.

National Nurses United

I have good news.

Last week, Rep. Jayapal introduced the Medicare for All Act of 2021 in the U.S. House with a record 112 original cosponsors (now at 114!).

And your representative, Rep. Brendan Boyle, is signed on as a cosponsor of the bill!

It takes courage to stand up to the party establishment and fight for transformational change. That’s why we’re asking you to sign the thank you card from constituents in your district (you can also add a short note if you like).

Will you add your name and a short message to say thank you to Rep. Boyle for cosponsoring Medicare for All?

It’s not often that representatives hear positive feedback and these messages can go a long way. They let your representative know that their actions are seen, and that health care is a major issue for their constituents.

The more positive feedback they hear, the harder they will work to lobby their colleagues, call for hearings, and publicly support the bill.

SIGN THE CARD »

Even though your representative is signed on – there’s still a lot of work we need your help with. In order for the bill to advance, we need to have hearings, mark ups, and votes in key committees.

We’ll need your help to make sure the chairs and members of those committees feel enough pressure that they know they must not stand in our way, and at best even come over and join our side.

Take the first step by sending a thank you note to your representative today, and stay tuned for more info later this week on what’s coming next.
