John -

The House of Representatives historically passed The Equality Act in a 224-206 vote on February 25th.

The Equality Act is a groundbreaking piece of civil rights legislation. It opens up accessibility and prevents discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in:

  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Public Places and Services
  • Credit
  • Jury Service
  • Federally Funded Programs
  • and so much more!

Now, it faces an uphill battle in the Senate. Senators like Josh Hawley are trying to skew the image of what the Equality Act would truly do; which is open the doors for so many people to finally live a happy, safe, and prosperous life here in the United States.

We are demanding the Senate to pass the Equality Act.

It’s been 46 years since the first version of the Civil Rights Act was introduced. It’s time to expand on these rights and make our world a better place.

By donating to our organization today, we can use our expansive platform to keep legislation like the Equality Act moving forward.
