John,
Over the weekend, I accepted a challenge from MSNBC "journalist" Mehdi Hasan to debate the border crisis on his show.
This is a painful interview to watch, but if you wan't to see me stand up to a leftist MSNBC host who wants open borders, you should check it out. Mehdi ends up talking over me constantly - but at least it’s a rare example of a real policy debate on the issues.
MSNBC tried to pin me down with "gotcha" questions and soundbites for their liberal audience. But what they didn't know is that I know the facts better than they do.

For Americans to know the truth about our border crisis - and every other critical policy debate - Republicans have no choice but to go on these left-leaning shows and educate Americans, especially those who we don't often talk to, on the facts. And now that the left knows I'm not afraid to go on their shows and debunk their lies about Biden's border crisis, they're going to fight back harder than ever before.
And your donation of $5, $15, $35 or any amount you can afford will help me redouble my efforts to get the truth out there - whether it's on Fox, MSNBC, CNN, or even Bill Maher.

And the truth is this:
Mehdi's fact-free argument is the exact lie that the Biden-Harris White House want to sell about the border crisis.
First, he tried to make the case that the border crisis started under Trump. It’s pretty self-evident that the current border crisis started in the last few months, and experts and migrants themselves say the border surge is a result of Biden's open-border rhetoric and his policies.
Then he tried to claim that Biden never signaled that he wouldn't deport illegal immigrants. This is a total lie. Biden not only tried to pause deportations for 100 days (only to be blocked by a federal judge), he also is making it harder for ICE to deport illegal immigrants.
Mehdi also didn't understand the purpose behind Asylum Cooperation Agreements - that they are designed so that people can claim asylum closer to their home country rather than make the dangerous journey to the United States and clog up the asylum process for people actually fleeing persecution.
The entire debate with Mehdi was frustrating - and serves as a perfect example of why you and I must continue bringing our message directly to voters. Can I count on your support?

Republicans have the truth on our side - but that's not enough to take back the House and Senate in 2022, and the White House in 2024. We must continue building our platform of commonsense, conservative values so that more and more voters hear it directly from us.
And contributions from patriots like you make it possible for me to share the truth with millions of American voters every day - many more voters than even watched Mehdi's show.
Please contribute ANY AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY to fight back against the mainstream media's disinformation campaign.
Thanks for your support.
In Service,
Dan Crenshaw
