Hi,

Today marks the third anniversary of the March for Our Lives in Washington. After the devastating Parkland shooting in Florida, young people across the nation have been on the frontlines, making their voices heard and demanding that Congress take action to address the gun violence epidemic.

In that time, the House has passed crucial gun safety measures to make our communities safer — but legislation has stalled because Republican leaders are unwilling to take action.

We now have two critical background check bills headed to the Senate floor that would ensure common sense gun safety.

Take action now to call on the Senate to pass these common sense gun safety reform bills: [[link removed]]

Events of the past year — including the devastating attacks in Colorado and Georgia just recently — have made it even more evident that it is vital we take immediate action on bipartisan gun safety reforms.

We owe it to the many lives lost to gun violence and the countless more forever changed to step up and protect our communities.

I’d like to let students and people everywhere know we’re standing with them as they call for change. We’re in a position to take action now, and we must do that.

Thank you,

Scott
