There were almost 90 million people in this country who were either uninsured or underinsured before the pandemic hit. Today, because we tie health care to employment in this country, millions more have joined their ranks... and during a global pandemic.
We must end the dysfunctional health care system that prioritizes the profits of big insurance and pharmaceutical companies over the well-being of our people.

When every other industrialized country has some form of universal health care, and Medicare for All is supported by a majority of Americans, you would think the moderate position would be to adopt the policy that covers the most people with the least amount of money.
But sadly, that isn’t the case right now.
