“Kung Flu.” “Wuhan Virus.” “Chinese Virus.”
We heard these vile and racist insults thrown around by Trump and the GOP for months -- now we're seeing the absolutely devastating effects of their racist rhetoric.
Asian Americans are facing attacks every day -- they're being murdered at work, assaulted walking on the street, and their places of worship are being vandalized. This brutality has to stop.
Until representatives in our government no longer empower white supremacists, we won't ever see an end to these violent attacks. Unfortunately, Trump and his remaining GOP-loyalists show no signs of changing their white supremacist language, and their base won't stop attacking Asian Americans until they do.
We're ready to rid our country of these white supremacist representatives and elect progressive leaders who reflect our diverse country, but we need to know our supporters are behind us:
