It’s an honor to serve Washington’s 23rd District and as the Chair of the Senate Ways & Means Committee.
In March, we have the joy of celebrating Women’s History Month, so today, I want to recognize the women of the WA State Senate.
All across Washington, these senators have pushed for COVID relief, investments in education, police reform, and so much more.
Women have led the way in making progress in our state.
We must also recognize the steps forward our women senators have made to support women across the state, especially since today is Equal Pay Day.
Women’s voices have been heard here in Washington and we’ve ensured progress on reproductive justice, family support, and equality in the workplace.
Celebrate the successes of our women senators today:

I am proud to be a part of a legislative body that represents its constituents. I am proud to work alongside the diverse women in our State Senate — with women leading eight critical committees.
And I am eager to see the many women that will follow in these leadership positions.
Thank you,
Sen. Christine Rolfes
