The Cover Alabama coalition is leading a Day of Action tomorrow- and we need your help! The goal is to send as many emails to Gov. Ivey and lawmakers as possible in support of Medicaid expansion. There's lots of reasons to support Medicaid expansion: it will help thousands of veterans, there's an unprecedented federal incentive available, and it's already popular with 70% of Alabamians supporting it. It's critical that we let our lawmakers know how much we care about this issue. So we are encouraging as many people as possible to reach out to our state lawmakers including Gov. Ivey. Don't worry, we've made it easy for you. All you have to do is click a link and submit a pre-filled form, but we know that legislators want to hear your story, so you can edit the message to reflect your concerns.
