Yesterday the Pritzker Administration publicly released an
eye-raising report showing that four-state run veterans homes suffered
from a lack of standardized infection prevention policies and
top-level leadership.
Ultimately, 36 veteran residents of the LaSalle facility died in a
COVID-19 outbreak.
Here is an article with more information and the full
report.
This report highlights multiple failures by Governor JB Pritzker to
show proactive leadership and implement recommendations that could
have saved veteran lives. The report shows that the Pritzker
Administration still needs to “establish collaboration among top
management and frontline staff to problem solve and develop strategies
for infection prevention.”
When I talk about the Pritzker Leadership Deficit, you
don’t need to take my word for it, even his own administration
recognizes it.
