John --

Did you know that right now there's a record number of women serving in the House of Representatives? We've come a long way from zero, but women still only make up 27% of the House.

Women only made up 19% of the House in 2016, and we've made HUGE strides over just the last four years, but we want to shoot even higher. Women make up over half of this country, and so we'll need to DOUBLE our representation in the House to match.

When more women are sworn into office, we make progress on critical issues that impact all Americans. The 116th Congress alone took decisive action on women's health and gender equity. If we can achieve that with so little representation, imagine what we could do with our fair share.

We have a lot of work ahead of us to defend progressive Democrats while growing the women's caucus in the House. We've set an ambitious goal of raising $3,500 by midnight to fund our efforts to elect women in 2022. Can you chip in to make this possible? >> [link removed]

With so much at stake in 2022, we need everyone to come forward now and fight for women, before the GOP gets too far ahead.

Thank you so much for standing with us,
