Right now we're back at sea in the Indian Ocean to expose the threats that our oceans face. By safely working with communities who are leading the way in protection, and carrying out scientific research, we can learn more about these waters, and show governments around the world why all oceans need protection.
Here 100,000 whales and dolphins are killed every year by industrial fishing fleets that are meant to be catching tuna. [1] We've already seen this with our own eyes in the short time that we've been here and it's heartbreaking.
Together we can outnumber the greedy industries that want to keep profiting from the plunder of our oceans. The momentum of this petition is growing and the more people that sign it, the more pressure we can put on ministers in the run up to the final crunch talks in August.
