Pundits say Washington Republicans have a real shot at taking back the House majority in 2022.

Washington Republicans only need to flip five seats to regain control of the majority, and the party that doesn’t control the White House -- which is the National GOP this time around -- gain an average of 26 House seats during the midterm elections.

If history repeats itself, we could lose the majority; Mikie’s powerful voice in Congress; and our ability to increase access to health care, pass common-sense gun-safety legislation, and strengthen wages for workers.
