Our movement continues to grow and today we’re proud to add in two fighters from Brooklyn to Team Dianne.

We’re kicking off this week strong with two endorsements from District Leader & State Committeemember Jesse Pierce (AD 52) and District Leader & State Committeewoman Shaquana Boykin (AD 57).

We know that the way we do politics in New York City is fundamentally broken: It excludes the People and instead allows a handful of people to amass power. This includes our local Democratic parties. In Brooklyn, Jesse and Shaquana are part of a new cohort of Brooklyn District Leaders working to combat the old ways and bring about a new era of transparency, cooperation and truly working to democratize the system.

Dianne was proud to stand alongside their work and refused participation in the Kings County Democrat County Committee’s forum in protest to support Chinese and Palestinian communities. As Team Dianne continues to grow, it becomes apparent that we’re engaging a coalition that has refused to stoop down to bad-faith politics, that is willing to speak truth to power, and that is truly transforming NYC politics for the better.
