This Labour Government is planning to hit Kiwis with yet another tax - this time on your car.

Labour’s car tax is slapping thousands of dollars in tax on some of New Zealand's most popular cars. That’s going to hit hard-working Kiwi families who can least afford it.

And it comes at a time when families are already struggling with soaring costs of living under this Government.

This latest tax grab adds to the raft of other taxes this Government has already piled on hard-working Kiwi families and businesses. And all this after Labour promised no new taxes in its first term.

National supports greening the vehicle fleet through incentives, not penalties. Our polices saw the number of electric vehicles on our roads increase hugely.

Labour is all about tax, borrow and spend. And when they start running out of money, they come after yours.

They just can’t manage money and have no plan to grow the economy. What’s more Labour is failing to deliver on its promises.
