John,
This keeps happening.
In Boulder, in Aurora, in Sutherland Springs, at Columbine. And it’s not just Colorado – it’s the nation. Only six days before 10 people were shot and killed with a military-style assault weapon in Boulder, CO, 8 people were shot and killed in Atlanta, GA. America’s gun violence epidemic is stealing lives every day, and if we do not act our nation will always be on the brink of national mourning.
John, I’ve been a community organizer working against gun violence for years and this moment is different. For decades, lifesaving legislation was blocked by gun lobby puppets and the NRA’s evil influence, but Brady has fought tooth and nail to elect gun violence prevention champions to the White House and Congress. Now, we are more poised than ever to pass lifesaving legislation, but we can’t do it without your help.
That’s why I’m personally asking you, John: Will you contribute today to finally end this cycle of gun violence?
Your critical gift will directly fund Brady’s work to mobilize grassroots activists, work directly with lawmakers to enact our lifesaving agenda, and engage hundreds of new gun violence prevention advocates. Every dollar matters to our efforts to demand real change in this moment.
Please, John, the only way we will finally pass lifesaving gun violence prevention legislation is if we come together as a united front against our nation’s deadly gun violence epidemic. I am counting on you to fund our fight and end our cycle of national mourning once and for all.
With gratitude,
