Turning Point USA students and campus chapters are being banned and assaulted for one reason: they’re standing up for America and fighting the American Culture War!

The Turning Point USA chapter at the University of Florida was suspended last Friday following the "Conservative Coalition Cookout"—an on-campus event TPUSA hosted with other conservative and freedom loving organizations at the university. That was too much for the administration at UF!

The Turning Point USA chapter—along with the school’s Young Americans for Freedom, College Republicans, and Network for Enlightened Women clubs—were SUSPENDED after false and misinformed allegations that the groups failed to follow COVID guidelines.
Fox News reported ([link removed]) that these groups violated the university’s mask and social distancing policies. Even though the TPUSA University of Florida’s Instagram page explicitly advised students to bring their masks ([link removed]) and photos from the event (like the one above) show students wearing their masks!
TPUSA contributor Isabel Brown reacted: ([link removed]) “The decision to ban all conservative organizations on campus for choosing to gather (while the vast majority of those in attendance did follow the school’s COVID-19 guidelines) is nothing short of a blatant violation of our country’s First Amendment rights to speech and assembly. We have arrived at a time where any ideological differences on campus are not only chastised but banned from the university learning environment altogether.

And just this past Saturday, March 20th, ANTIFA targeted a TPUSA event and attacked the student activists from Turning Point USA’s chapter at Central Washington University. ([link removed])

The violence began when ANTIFA members hit a TPUSA activist’s head with a water bottle and then proceeded to vandalize the chapter’s event table and throw the TPUSA materials at our student activists.
And to cap it all off, the ANTIFA members threatened the students with “LYNCHING ALL OF YOU *************!”
We are thankful that our TPUSA activists in Washington State are safe following this troubling interaction, and our National Field Program—the largest on-campus activist program in the U.S.—looks forward to continuing to fight for America in every state!

These are two more examples of a growing pattern of violence against Americans—including TPUSA student activists—who dare to think differently than the radical Left.
