First: The Republican National Congressional Committee released a list of representatives they’re going to target in 2022, and Katie was on it. This means that the GOP is planning to dedicate a lot of resources towards supporting a well-funded candidate to run against her.
Then: The Democratic National Congressional Committee released a list of the most vulnerable house districts for 2022 based off of last year’s election results, and our district was on that list as well.
Now: In response to these two major updates, we need to build strong, early grassroots support for our campaign. That’s the key to keeping Katie Porter in Congress for years to come.
The more resources we raise now, the more long-term organizing and advertising we’ll be able to do to keep this district blue and hold onto our House majority. Additionally, John, more early support now will fend off any future GOP challengers who think they can take this seat.
