It has now been confirmed that Seditious Six member Jody Hice — one of the most prominent of the Six to push the election fraud conspiracy theory for the Trump regime — is running to replace Brad Raffensperger as Georgia's Secretary of State. 

We can all agree that Raffensperger is a problem and he must be replaced, but not by a radical, right-wing seditionist who attempted to subvert the will of you, the American voter, in order to appease a would-be autocrat in his attempt to gas-light the entire nation by perpetuating his false "stolen election" narrative. 

If Jody Hice were to become Secretary of State, you can kiss any expansive voting rights action goodbye. Even more frightening, if you can believe it, is that if the GOP in Georgia wanted to try to overturn another election, Jody Hice would gladly become complicit in their efforts. Bluntly speaking, fair elections in Georgia would become a thing of the past thanks to the Seditious Six. 

We cannot allow them to undo all the hard work that Georgia's organizers and voters have done. Every positive change to our election system — change that took the blood, sweat and tears of civil rights activists and Georgians across the state — would be gone virtually overnight. The damage Jody Hice would do could take decades to fix.
