Time flies when you're providing health coverage to millions of people, friend! Today, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) turns 11 years old - as you know, this moment was far from guaranteed and has been hard-won.

Today also marks 11 years of the GOP doing everything they can to dismantle the ACA, and rip affordable health care away from those without any other viable options. In fact, as we're writing this, a coalition of Republican Attorneys General is trying to strike down the ACA through the Supreme Court - during a global pandemic.

Friend, that makes the Democratic Attorneys General the last line of defense between the ACA and a GOP that's absolutely bent on its destruction. Our country has made so much progress in the last 11 years. Thanks to the ACA, the children born into the Great Recession's trenches have never known an America that denies care to those with pre-existing conditions.

Thanks to the ACA, the number of uninsured people has plummeted to historic lows, dramatically expanding access in low-income and BIPOC communities. And thanks to the ACA, this country has a life-saving safety net to keep millions of families healthy and out of medical bankruptcy.
