John,
The 2021 Trans Equality Now Awards, hosted by the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and the NCTE Action Fund, is only eight days away: Wednesday, March 31st – International Trans Day of Visibility! The event is typically held in-person in Washington, D.C., however, due to the pandemic, we will be hosting this year’s event virtually so that we can keep our community safe. While we may not be able to gather in-person, we hope that this year’s digital event will grant expanded access to even more folks within our community.
We hope you will consider joining us as a host committee sponsor for this year's event. If you feel comfortable doing so, we invite our friends and allies across the country to gather safely within your "COVID bubbles" to celebrate NCTE's 18th anniversary! Host committee packages include a link to host your own watch party at home, as well as the following items to help you and your loved ones enjoy the ceremony with each other:
- Six (6) "Trans Equality Now" face masks
- Six (6) NCTE branded champagne flutes
- Six (6) after dinner mints with commemorative 2021 Trans Equality Now Awards tin
- Two (2) bottles of Barefoot Bubbly (or non-alcoholic sparkling cider)
I look forward to celebrating our awardees--and our entire community--with all of you on this International Trans Day of Visibility.
See you there!
