Yesterday there was yet another mass shooting in America.

Just seven days after a gunman murdered eight people in the Atlanta area, a mass shooting claimed 10 lives at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado.

I am praying for the families of all who were killed.

But we must all do more than offer our thoughts and prayers.

The NRA and its gun lobby allies have called the shots in Washington for too long. We have to take action to keep guns out of the wrong hands and stem the tide of this epidemic.

Our bill to expand criminal background checks and close the gun show loophole, HR. 8, passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support. Now, it’s on the Senate to take action.

Join me in calling on the Senate to pass our bipartisan bill to expand criminal background checks in gun sales. No one should be able to purchase a gun without passing a background check >>
