In 2018, a woman named Sharice Davids from Kansas made history when she became the first LGBTQIA+, Native American women elected to Congress in history.

Today, I am excited to share with you that Congressman Peter DeFazio is hosting a fundraiser for Representative Sharice Davids from Kansas in Bend, Oregon on Saturday, October 19th, in the Sunriver Resort in Bend from 2:30-3:45pm and has invited 5 Young Democrats to attend for free! At the end of this email, is a link to a survey to be put into a random drawing for one of these tickets. 

If you are interested in attending this fundraiser to meet Rep. Davids, we are giving away 5 tickets to this fundraiser to our membership! If you are a young democrat (36 or younger), you are eligible to enter into our drawing to attend this event. Please click the following link and fill out the short survey and we will be randomly pulling 5 names to join us at this event. Names will be chosen on October 5th.
