Friend, we’re still 19 donations short of our end-of-quarter grassroots goal.

Here's what's on my mind tonight, and why I need you to do your part to make sure we reach our goal:

My fake moderate opponent, John Katko, claims that the House's impeachment inquiry is “going to rip this country apart.”

But we know the truth.

What's ripping this country apart are Trump apologists like him who refuse to do their job and hold the President accountable for undermining our democracy.

What's ripping this country apart are fossil fuel fanatics like him who refuse to take the necessary action to address the climate crisis.

What's ripping this country apart are corporate gun lobby lapdogs who refuse to vote for even the most basic, common-sense gun safety measures.

So when John Katko says that the House's decision to exercise their responsibility as a co-equal branch of government will "rip this country apart," he needs to step back and take a look in the mirror.

Missing this goal is NOT an option if Democrats are going to take back this seat -- and we've just got to do it.

I'm emailing you right now because I don't have a contact list full of lobbyists and wealthy friends to turn to. I have you.

And we can't fuel this campaign without lots of people giving what they can, when they can.

I'm asking, will you stand with me now and chip in $5, $10, $24, or whatever you're able to flip NY-24 and help us meet our goal by midnight?

Thank you!

Dana
