Hi John,
I just wanted to note that today's episode was recorded last week, before yesterday's attack on a peaceful community -- right next to the city our guest represents.
We can never forget the stakes of our work: progress, security, and people's lives. As you listen today, keep in mind that Run for Something is part of this fight. We are listening, organizing, and electing leaders who are
committed to ending gun violence.
Hold tight and take care of yourself.
If you're obsessed with: Colorado, local school policy, or Gen Z -- this week's podcast episode is for you.
I got a chance to sit down with
Tay Anderson who became Colorado's youngest elected official (he's 23!) as Denver School Board Director.
Tay ran and lost in 2017, but didn't let that stop him -- he ran again in 2019 and won, and has now been leading the work to make Denver schools safer, more equitable, and more welcoming.
You can listen now on the podcatcher of your choice:

Thanks,
